goofy postcard, Chief Bender?
 

I saw this weird postcard on ebay and figured there might be someone around here that would get a kick out of it. It is strange what passed for wit one hundred years ago.

Why do you think that is showing a cartooned image of Chief Bender? Is there something I am missing that leads you to think it is him?

Ha! I don't really think it is anyone specifically.

But he was a righty for the A's in 1912. So if you're a Bender fan, maybe you'd like to think it is him. :)

I like these old strange cartoonish postcards that have a baseball theme........I look for them myself when searching antique malls. Thanks for showing that.
