SGC 30 Cy Young portrait T206 auction
 

For auction is this T206 white border tobacco card of Hall of Famer Cy Young. It is a Sweet Caporal series 350 factory 25 card.


Bidding can start at $1, with at least $1 increments. I'll let you guys bid on it for a while. If/when it gets up to where I'm willing to let it sell (its reserve), I'll contact the high bidder to let them suggest a closing time convenient for him. I'll post that day and time, and clearly state the time zone. Then the auction will close at that time so long as there have been no bids in the preceding 5 minutes, by the server clock. After 5 minutes without bidding, the auction would then end.

Shipping is included, for 1st class with delivery confirmation, and insured. Or I'll ship any way you wish for about what it costs. Payment by Paypal if you wish (straight if you want, I don't force the 'gift' game on you), or USPS money order. I'll take a check but may wait for it to clear.

The flip lists Piedmont, but it's a Sweet Cap. Did SGC make a mixup?

Yes Sir, David. Good eye. It is one of two SGC mistakes on labels that I have. It was one of the reasons I never broke him out.

Looks like I keep the card. I do thank those that bid and those that looked. Maybe SGC should have bought it to fix their labeling mistake.
