Slightly OT: Not quite vintage pin question
 

Found this Mr. Met pin at an antique fair last weekend. The coloring on it makes it look very early Mets to me. Try as I might, I have not been able to find an image of a similar one elsewhere. Has anyone seen one of these before? Any idea what year it is from? Thanks.

There are three different sizes of this pin from 1 1/2 to 3 1/2". They are in the $40-$60 range. Nice pin

Thanks guys. My guess was also around 63-64 (Mr. Met's first year and Mr. Met's first human appearance). I guess sometimes it helps to be a Mets fan!
