first thing I notice is the card on eBay has less room at top of image.

Even with being miscut there should be more of the photo showing at top. easiest to see when measuring the gap above the top Japanese letter word symbol thingy in top right corner.

also the left to right width is narrower on the eBay one, but this could just be inconsistent cutting.

Oh Oh well, I though it was a great question. didnt have time to look at the 2nd example you posted.
