O/T-Need Some Help From the Tobacco Historians Here
 

Has anyone run across the name Sherman Salomon, Schlome Salomon, S. Salomon or S.S. Salomon in connection with the cigar and tobacco trade in the course of their research? He would have been in New York City from circa 1877 for a few years and then in Boston by the late 1880's/early 1890's. Not sure when he made the move from NYC to Boston but probably around 1885. He was back in NYC in the teens and twenties. Particularly interested in the 1888-1892 era.
