Wibert Robinson auto
 

I've been looking for one for a while, and they rarely pop up for sale. This one just appeared, and there are a lot of things I don't like about it; the GAI cert inspires no confidence anymore, the relatively low starting bid, and the fact that the auto looks rather "painted" to me.

Any thoughts?

Not a Wilbert Robinson expert by any means, and I've only seen a couple of exemplars, but this does NOT come close to either of those. That and the GAI cert would be cause for concern in my book.

Yeah, I think so too. I meant by "painted" that it looks as if someone took their time writing it, as opposed to the scribble that most do when signing their name.

It's such a shame that a GAI cert now screams "didn't pass JSA or PSA/DNA!"
