Baseball Humidor Help

I picked this up because it looks cool but I know nothing about it. It was listed as a humidor in the store, but does anyone know anything else about it?

That or a very similar type has sold at Hunt Auctions a few times, anywhere from $200- over $1000. Search their completed listings for "humidor" and look at the descriptions.

Thanks, looks like its from 1930 according to hunts, still not much information on it but its better then nothing! This is the same one as the ones they have sold, 8 inches tall, same picture etc, so that was really helpful. Thanks!

Great vintage piece, in apparent wonderful condition. These are tough, and are sometimes missing the figural baseball on the lid. Yours is a beautiful example and is worth roughly $500 - $600.

That is, unless you are Brock G... then expect to pay about $15 for it (jk - dumb joke that just a few veteran posters here will get).

Congrats on a very nice pickup!

Well first off the ashtray in my car is huge. And second, there was at least two bicentennial quarters mixed in with all that change so you have to take that into consideration. And who hasn't traded some sort of cough suppressant for quality memorabilia? ;)

Thanks everyone for the insight, it is definitely a cool piece, even if theres not much information on it out there.
