TriStar show in Houston next weekend...

Anybody going? Anybody setting up? I will attend Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. Anybody else?

I'll be there. The January Tristar show is the best of the year in the Houston area.

Is there a good selection of vintage cards?

I plan to be there Sat morning. It can be hit or miss but last year I did very well there picking up a number of vintage cards including an Old Judge, 2 E cards, an M101-4/5 hard back, 9 exhibits and a few others cards, there was also a number of T206's and two dealers had a bunch of T3's. I feel its worth the hour drive just to support the show even if i dont pick up anything.

I attended yesterday afternoon and this morning. There seemed to be more vintage ('50s-'60s) than in years past. There was a decent amount of pre-war as well. I really didn't see any "deals" - nothing I couldn't get on eBay at a better price.

On the pre-was side, I only picked up a '33 Goudey Eddie Collins and a T206 Snodgrass catching. I also picked up about 150 cards for my '61 Topps BB set including 18 NM+ high numbers and 2 Nolan Ryan rookies that I believe will grade high.
