Negro League Broadside Player Identification Help...
 

Can anyone tell me what 2 players are featured on this broadside from a game in 1945 between Chicago American Giants & New Orleans Eagles ?

Top Player - Chicago American Giants -? (the player appears to be wearing an New York Cubans jersey)
Bottom Player - New Orleans Eagles - ?

Any help would be appreciated !

Hard to tell. The New York Cuban guy is completely obscured. You'd have to find a matching image to even come close on that ID, I would think. On the New Orleans Eagle player, did you go to the Seamheads database for a start? I don't trust a lot of their IDs but could give you a starting point.

I've seen this broadside reprinted a bunch and I think they even used it for an event at either the Hall of Fame or Negro Hall of Fame. Perhaps with some searching you could find out if they ID'd the players for the more recent events in which it was used.

Sorry couldn't be of more help but I'll keep looking...

edited to add: Glove appears to be on the player's right hand so being a lefty should narrow the field a bit.
