My new autograph classification scheme!
Type 1: Signed and/or written (if no signature) by the person who's "autograph" it is; e.g., photo signed by Babe Ruth is a "Type 1" Ruth.
Type 2: Signed and/or written (if no signature) by a person authorized by the person who's "autograph" it is; e.g., photo signed "Lou Gehrig" by Eleanor Gehrig is a "Type 2" Gehrig. Type 3: Signed and/or written (if no signature) by a person who has actually seen the person who's "autograph" it is; e.g., photo signed "Mickey Mantle" by me is a "Type 3" Mantle. Type 4: Signed and/or written (if no signature) by a person who has no connection whatever to the person who's "autograph" it is; e.g., photo signed "Ty Cobb" by Greg Marino is a "Type 4" Cobb. |
Makes good sense to me David!
I do think there should be a 3.5 however, for someone who has NOT seen Mickey Mantle, but has seen YOU!:) |
LOL. Awesome David.;)

And a Type 5 is one signed by any other forger and authenticated by one of the "I never saw an autograph I could not authenticate" authenticators.
