Looking for help on this Babe Ruth cut sig Hey guys, I'm posting for a friend of mine. He's had this Babe Ruth cut for quite a while now and has always wondered about it's authenticity. I was hoping to get a few opinions from some of you guys before I suggest he send it in for authentication. He would appreciate any and all opinions. Thanks for your help. http://s107.photobucket.com/albums/m...hautograph.jpg |

 no good . |

There seems to be a consensus. What about this sig screams fake? I need to be educated, as I want to add a Ruth sig to my collection at some point in the future. |

This signature was "drawn," (way too slowly, way too carefully), rather than signed. There is no flow. There's no lightening as the pen ends a word and lifts off the paper. In addition, every letter is just a bit off. To a trained eye, it screams fake. |

David, My first thought was "nice autograph" But, I'm one of those with the untrained eye. I appreciate your comment about flow. I see the interruption in flow between the R and u. What else should we see? |

It's really the flow of the entire signature. It is actually a nice "drawing" of his autograph, but when you consider what the flow should look like, it's really not even close. |
