"Spence's Canoe" Tobacco Fan ??
 

Can anyone identify this and give a general price range it is coming up in an auction and looks like a neat piece. It is in fair condition but don't want to overpay.

Interesting item - never saw one before. Considering it has a beautiful image of Welch on the fan, I would guess it would be worth somewhere in the $1000-$1200 range.
