So sad, I knew he had many ailments over the years, but he always seemed to battle through it. Due to return to the botth next year, it won't be the same (Cubs Broadcasts on WGN) without him.

That is sad. He had been in bad health for a very long time.

RIP Mr. Santo,
I was still holding out hope that he would get into the Hall before this.:(

Sorry to hear this terrible news. It is a disgrace that he wasn't elected to the Hall of Fame in his lifetime.
