I was wondering if anybody had any info on a Roy Campanella Kren bat I have. I can't find any information regarding Campanella being attached to Kren bats and I have read when he went pro he used H&B bats but had no contract with them. The Roy Campanella letters are in signature style not block letters and in the middle of the logo is has hand turned not a model number like some have. Any information would be great thanks.

They made Campanella store model bats. I actually picked one up today ... but I'm sure it's possible a pro model exists. Needs to be 35+ inches .. post some pictures and I'm sure you will get the info you are looking for

The bat is a 34" Roy Campanella bat. I haven't been able to find a Kren bat with Roy Campanella just H&B bats so far. What's the value of a store model Kren Roy Campanella bat?

Can you post a pic?

Attached are the pics I have of the bat if anyone can help identify.

Nice bat. Based on the label, bat is around early 50's. Probably too short to be a gamer. Kren was pretty creative in their retail models especially for the non H&B players. I would price the bat $75-125, maybe a little more for a Dodgers collector.

It's right on the cusp when they changed their label. Kren died in 1953 and the company was sold to the Wood Shovel and Tool Company. It's definitely no later than 1953. Also, you can notice a yellow paint wash over the bat that they applied towards the end of their production.

I am mostly a card collector, but I do have this cracked, 35" Kren's Mickey Vernon bat, which has been autographed by Vernon. I picked it up 20-25 years ago because Vernon was one of my favorite Senators' players when I was a youngster. I have long assumed it is a store model bat, but I am wondering if it might be a professional model. Mike, any info about this bat that you or any other bat collector can share with me will be much appreciated.
