My first Clemente Auto

Sorry for making a seperate thread for my new pick up. I always wanted a Roberto Clemente auto and this ball fills the spot. It's not really a team signed baseball or like pirates hall of fame ball. Signed by Clemente, Kiner, Traynor and othes(11 total). I was also wondering if you guys think i should have the others removed and just leave Clemente, or maybe just Clemente and Traynor(i know his is worth alittle money). I did buy it thinking more of resale, but i can already tell im gonna fall in love with it. Thanks

That's a fabulous Clemente, Brock...
I would remove the faded black ones, and keep the bold blue ones. But that's just my OCD talking (as I prefer uniformity on team balls). It's fortunate that the best players all signed in the superior blue ink. I think it would look great with just the HOFers Kiner, Clemente and Traynor and stars Oliver, Groat and Kison on that ball. The other faded ink signatures diminish its appeal IMHO. That's just my personal sentiment, and I am sure I'm in the vast minority on this :o |
