i think its to late. I want to buy a couple more and i want a hofer.To bad they never made a mack,marquard ,zach wheat or hugh duffy. They are the nicest of all the prewar sets.

I always thought they where nice cards when i saw pics of them but when you have them in hand they are pieces of art. just imagine the first person to own it when he had recieved it in the mail and what did he think of the card.

the only problem i have is sgc is all over the place with there grades. i had looked at different t3's and a sgc40 looks from the scans should be a 10 staining corner damage and then i see a great one thats a sgc20. Of course these are from scans so i cant really tell so im resubmiting my sgc auth for a grade because it looks like a sgc30.

Congrats! I still remember getting my one and only - Hal Chase in an SGC holder. The size is almost overwhelming! I mean, you read and understand how big they are, but to have and hold one is fantastic. Definitely some of the most beautiful cards ever made. Get a scan up to share!
