Of signed T206 Cobbs and prices long gone...

As I continue to "consider" how I was outbid on the signed Cobb in the latest Imperial Sports Auction (it sold for $27,000+), it boggles my mind that less than 10 years ago, one could have had signed T206s of Cobb, Crawford, Cicotte, Clarke, Marquard and Wheat for under $7,000 total -- and from the storied Jeff Morey collection to boot:

I have been able to acquire the Crawford and Clarke cards from this lot, and I know where the Wheat is. But I sure would love to know the fate of that Cobb and Cicotte.

Why do people collect these things if they aren't really interested in sharing with us the location... bank address... lock combination...... :D

Thanks Sean,

Basically the first lot was bought with the Cobb and then resold with the Young the next year in the auction you listed. i have three of the four cards shown in that listing, and know where the Wheat is. But i have no idea where that Cobb went!!
