I am excited REA broke the 94 cards down in to 25 lots. Instead of some whale picking up all 94 cards, at least we middle of the roaders have a legitimate shot at adding a Red Cross, albeit pricey, card to our collections. :)

Value of a Red Cross ?

Out of curiosity... What is a Red Cross fetchin these days ? Say, in grade 1-4 ?? I looked at Pop reports for PSA and SGC and notice that Red Cross is very scarce.... about as scarce as a Type 1 Coupon.

Jeremy, are you talking about a T215 Red Cross or a T207 Red Cross? There is an SGC 50 T215 Marquard Red Cross with a BIN of around $2000 on ebay and an SGC 40 T215 McGraw Red Cross with a BIN of around $1600-1700 (going on memory here) on ebay. I would guess the T207 Red Cross Lowdermilk will go for $20-30 k. Just a guess.

Thanks Peter, a slip of the keyboard :-(

Amazing to see such a large group of T207 cards with Red Cross backs.

If it came from one smoker, that might have been his brand...

The excerpt below from the story made me laugh out loud. [begin sarcasm font]Not sure why.[end sarcasm font]

It has never before been known to exist with a Red Cross back, and the discovery of even the most “common” T207 with a Red Cross back would be a big deal and worth thousands. It sounded as crazy as if he said he had a T206 Honus Wagner with a “Uzit” or “Broad Leaf 460″ back.

Tbob...

TBob - Thanks for the info... Yeah, I was referring to the T215's Type 1 & 2.

I wonder why I never find stuff like that in the French Quarter!??
