1919 World Series Employee Pass

Anyone here win this one?

I thought I was a bit high bidding to 800, a lil stunned it went for 2K. I've seen media passes in near mint condition go for 900-1200 on Hunt. 2 peep fought it out for 2K.

Score it, Grounds Crew over the Press in an upset.

Just wondering if this person had a reserve on it? Reason I ask is because on bidding history, it goes from $1500.00 to $2000.00. I would assume the next bid would be in $25.00 or $50.00 increments after $1500.00, not $500.00. So it looks more like one person hit the reserve than 2 people bidding it up.

Reserve

Yes, they did have Reserve on it. Can you tell what it was in retrospect? The bidding jump does look odd 1500 to 2000 as you say.

Reserve was $2,000

So the seller put a reserve of 2000 on it and it sold at exactly 2000, next closest buyer went to 1500.

Nice prediction by the seller on the reserve. And a seller who doesn't appear to ever have sold sports memorabilia and has a whopping 23 ebay rating. He must have consulted someone in the know.

Seller set reserve at $2,000.

Winner may very well have bid over $2,000 (and likely did) but once it meets reserve that's the bid...$2,000. If the reserve is met early then subsequent bids would be at ordinary ebay increments.
