Cuban Issue Cigarette Pack - Info Wanted
 

Hello,
I just purchased a Cuban Cigarette Pack with Salvador Hernandez on the front cover. Can anyone give me any info on this pack/issue. Is it uncatalogued, I can't find anything. I've done some google searches but I don't speak Spanish. Any thoughts, info or value estimates are appreciated.

They are 1953-54 Fosforos Los Peloteros matchboxes, obviously from Cuba. Unsure about the pricing though.

Steve is right and here is a link to the cubanball.com site (GREAT SITE!!!) that talks about them...As for value- I got one that was cut (all I got was the two sides front and back) and paid $20 I think...And if I'm not mistaking I saw that at the Nation and the deal wanted somewhere around $35-$40...

Thanks for the info and the link, that is a cool site. I do not understand why a match book would have a tax stamp. Any ideas?
