Worlds Smallest eBay Scan

OK, this one was comical...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=200507749375

And it got even funnier when you read this guys feedback on this and other recently.

Then this Cobb Bat On tonight..

http://cgi.ebay.com/T206-Ty-Cobb-Bat...torefresh=true

Looks like he's tried to sell the card at least one other time, then not for sale, then it is again. Returns accepted .. oops no wait, not accepted. You see who the latest winner is - a (1) feedback - what smells about all of this!?

How in the hell does eBay allow these people to continue to roam around and sell..?!

Ed with a feedback score like that, how can one go wrong?? :D

FUBAR 09-08-2010 10:48 PM

did you read his feedback comment...

the Cobb sold for $180 and the buyer said "he didn't ship" he responds with "yep, i didn't want to sell the card for that price"

then re lists it

What's really mind boggling sometimes is that people bid/buy form shady dealers like this. Small scans, etc, and thus, obvious concerns over authenticity. The buyers are often (like w autographs) as dumb /to blame as the sellers.

I'm a fan...

particularly of his 60% positive feedback score!!!
:D:D:D

Scott, you are oh so right there.
In my recent adventures I have discovered such amateurish behavior among the buyers and sellers of bogus autographs that it just boggles the mind that these people are actually allowed to drive and vote. Scary, actually, very scary.

60% positive feedback and yet if I had to bet my life on Shaq making a free throw, or him making a clean sale, I'd take Shaq every time.

buyer--"This guy is a nightmare to deal with."

seller--"Nightmare on Elm Street, and I am FREADY!"

You can't make stuff up this good.

definately a candidate

"The card has not been graded but is definately a candidate for grading."

Spelling aside, what card is NOT a candidate for grading?

Gotta go, I'm a candidate for lunch . . .
