Just getting around to filling out the R's in the collection.....as long as there are no creases in the face or chunks missing, I will consider it. Pinholes in corners probably ok....I am going for the Registry!!! (of low grade cards :).)

Leon,
I had this one on my ebay watchlist but then discovered that I already had it. Not a bad price for a HOF IMO and one of his first issues. A couple of small pinholes.

thanks

Thanks Jeff.....is it just the scan or is it either missing the side borders or is this a borderless one? (if they made one from this series without borders)....This series is quite abundant so this card stays with no opening bid I might bid at the end.....LL

Good catch. Didn't notice that. Auction says it is 4.75" wide which is what they typically run normally but the listing has the length @ 7.25" and they are usually 7 and 3/8." May be a poor crop job but you never know.

From looking at his other listings I would say he is a Tribe fan, you gotta watch them like a hawk. :)

I also have a spare Ott R309-2 if you need that type. Would swap it.

Thanks again Jeff...i will make sure on that other one. I can handle a few pinholes but missing borders wouldn't probably be good. On the R309-2, I picked up a lower grade Greenberg recently, so am set on that one. I still need a R309-1 and just haven't seen one for the price I want to pay. Most of these (besides the R309-2) seem to be fairly common, so I am in no huge rush....just taking my time on them and having fun. take care

You shouldn't have too much trouble since you're not looking for a specific HOFer, but the R303A issue is pretty tough - arguably more so then the R309-2s. It took me two years to find my Ted Williams and I thought I was lucky when I found it then. If you're OK with a player who exists in the R303B/C issues you should have an easier time.
