Another eBay question
First, I want to say thank you to everyone for all the help you've given me so far. I've been a member of a few different forums (mostly poker related) and everyone here has been way more inviting to a newbie than I am used to. So, thank you.
Here's my question: When I click on an eBay auction that has ended, whether it be one that I won, or one that I just want to examine, I am re-directed to a page of "Recommendations for You". Is there any way to disable this so I can peruse old auctions to help me value current ones? Thanks, Luke |
you can use the search feature and down the left side of the screen there is a box to check off to search for completed listings which shows the final sell prices for your search. On vintage , there may not be much history.
If you cant find anything on ebay, you can ask on here, there are other sources for recent sales. |
Scrolling down doesn't work? They put the listing below the ads on completed auctions.

If I understand the question correctly, there is no way to remove these recommendations...which is not surprising since it would not be in eBay's interest to allow a user to do so. I spent a few minutes trying to accomplish the same thing when I was compiling my own VCP-type data...I've since abandoned that effort as I'm now buying and selling a much broader range of cards.

They actually recommended a card for me that I had listed for sale. I can't say that I'm really interested in buying a card from myself that I already own and am trying to sell, but that's eBay logic for you.

That's an interesting business model. After a while the fees will eat you up, but the feedback would be good! (Maybe.) |
Wow...
