Interested to see if anyone got some deals in the Legendary auction. All of my bids on pre-war items got outbid (thanks, guys), but I did manage to get these for what I felt were fair deals

Did anyone on the board win the 2 card T3 lot with Merkle and Groom? If so, would the Merkle be available fo sale? LMK.

I won the Wheaties Minn. Millers pc lot.
But I was outbid on the Grignon PCs. If anyone on the Board won the Grignons I need Chance, Kling, and Overall to complete my set. Please help! Cheers, Mike |

1947 Morley Studio cards
I picked up a few small lots, nothing spectacular.
If anyone bought the 1947 Morley Studio cards, the first night, and would care to part with one, I will pay 2x for it. Also, couldn't you have NOT waited until there were only 5 minutes left every time you bumped it? :) Us old guys need some sleep. |
Spectacular Jeff

I was very happy to pick up this Lowell cabinet which contains a very early image of HOFer Hugh Duffy. Equally of interest to me is the image of George Toffling (standing far right). Toffling almost made it into the Old Judge set (see "Close, But No...Cigarette Card" on page 69 of the Old Judge book). This very cabinet was also pictured on page 213 of the Old Judge book. |

Just missed out on the 1920 Cleveland Indians P/C but did pick up one of the 1915 Indianapolis Freeman newspapers picturing Oscar Charleston. Not quite in the same class as Ryan's postcard but the second earliest image of Charleston that I have seen in 7 years of collecting Negro League HOF'ers. I find it amazing that both items closed in auctions within one week of each other.

I missed out on the Home Run Kisses lot of 16 but if the winner decides to break them up and sell any off, please let me know. Thanks.
