1934-36 Batter Up tint questions

I tried to look through some old threads, but couldn't find answers there, so:

1) Are all players found with all tint variations in both series; and
2) Which colors are considered tougher (I seem to think green and red on the low numbers - no clue on the highs)?

Thanks

I've never heard of a player in either series that doesn't come in a certain color ...

While green is generally considered the toughest color among the low-numbered cards, I believe red is truly the hardest to find. Magenta cards, which are quite common, come in a variety of shades and are sometimes mistakenly called red.

As for the high numbered cards, I've never heard that one shade is tougher to find than another, although out of the 25 I own, only three have a green tint. Because the high numbered cards come in much more subtle shades of color, I doubt as many people pay attention to their color ...

Thanks - I don't know that I've seen a green high number...
Appreciate the answers.

batter up

you guys have some keen eyes.
i asked my wife what color my Hallahan is--hoping to hear at least the word
'magenta'--and she said 'gray'.
i don't know this vintage area---what are all the possible colors for the
batter-ups?
hope you don't mind this quick question on your thread, Judson.

best,

Check this set description from Old Cardboard, it lists which color tints are found for low and high series.
