What are these "Flip Trade Collect" cards?
3 Attachment(s)
They measure approximately 1.5" x 2.7".
They picture 19th and 20th century players. Are these baseball cards, cards from a board game, or something else? Who issued them and when? What's on the reverse? I've never seen them before, so any information is appreciated. |
Honestly, I have never seen them before and don't know anything about them, but they look very modern to me. I would guess they were made sometime between the 80s and the present.

I'd say 2005-present.
The font is a currently popular one among graphic designers I know. the name of the font is "Carnevalee Freakshow". The tells are the slight dip in the downstroke of the "N" Also the font is all caps, but lowercase letters are smaller. I just typed "No." with that font and it is identical. |
There were a bunch of these on ebay from one seller - "cards-480". A few days ago I asked the seller for more info - what company issued them and when, what's on the back, etc. - but he didn't respond. He is advertising them as "Rare Flip Trade Collect Baseball Game Card".
If nobody has seen these before and Matthew recognized this font as popular with graphic designers, is it likely that these "Rare" cards were created on the seller's computer? |
