Any good vintage card shops in Las Vegas?
I am going to be in Las Vegas in about a month and was hoping someone could guide me toward a shop there that may have a decent selection of vintage cards and reasonable prices. I collect mostly 1955 Ashland Basketball and oddball vintage baseball, but I also dabble in some of the "T" issues.
Any help in this regard would be appreciated. |
I have no idea about vintage card shops in Las Vegas, but if you're in to vintage anything and in Las Vegas, you MUST go to the Bauman Rare Books in the Venetian. Absolutely unbelievable to look at the inventory they have.
http://www.yelp.com/biz/bauman-rare-books-las-vegas They do have some items that are not books, but I think I'd remember if I saw any cards. If they did have any cards, they'd probably have a T206 Wagner. |
I get my supplies at this place, they have some vintage cards ,not alot and it's hit and miss, see some nice t206's from time to time Legacy Sports Cards. 3655 S Durango Dr Ste 19. Las Vegas, NV 89147 702-341-6525

I agree about visiting Bauman Rare Books in the Venetian. Was out there on business in May and stopped by the shop. I'm sure they would have some early baseball books. The person working the store that day searched their computer for some books I'm looking for and when not found I filled out a form they could add to their database just in case they find the books.
I went looking for card stores and found a few listed in the phone book but I opted to go to a AAA game instead. |
Hi Phil-
Ditto what Mike said.........but don't expect a wide selection of pre-war. Plenty of 50's and 60's cards, and carries basketball, baseball, football, etc. Ask for Marcel, very nice guy. Sincerely,Clayton |
