New Jewish Major Leaguer Discovery - Fred Graf - 1913 St. Louis Browns
From Peter Horvitz, who wrote The Big Book of Jewish Baseball
"This note is to announce to you my discovery of a new addition to the list of Jewish baseball players who played in the Major Leagues. This player is Fred (Frederick) Gottlieb Graf or Graff, who played 4 games with the St. Louis Browns at 3rd base in 1913. This discovery was made through correspondence with the daughter of a Jewish minor league player whose father was friends with Graf. The discovery was confirmed when I found that Graf is buried in a Jewish cemetery in Chattanooga. Sincerely yours, Peter S. Horvitz, Author The Big Book of Jewish Baseball " I say: http://forum.mydyingbride.org/images...s/beerchug.gifhttp://forum.mydyingbride.org/images...s/beerchug.gifhttp://forum.mydyingbride.org/images...s/beerchug.gifhttp://forum.mydyingbride.org/images...s/beerchug.gifhttp://forum.mydyingbride.org/images...s/beerchug.gifhttp://forum.mydyingbride.org/images...s/beerchug.gifhttp://forum.mydyingbride.org/images...s/beerchug.gifhttp://forum.mydyingbride.org/images...s/beerchug.gifhttp://forum.mydyingbride.org/images...s/beerchug.gifhttp://forum.mydyingbride.org/images...s/beerchug.gif |
