hello,
i need help with this question. what's the difference between a bat having a stamp or not having one?

Stamping usually refers to the method of applying markings (logo etc.) to bats. A stamped bat, uses ink (black, silver, gold) that is pressed into/onto the wood. Branding is the burning of markings into the wood and is indicative of older bats, or higher quality bats of the same era. In summary, branded is usually better. That being said, stamped game used bats of modern players are NOT a lesser grade.
