1913 Zeenut Halla on ebay

So this must be a price ($188) that is a spill over from the great 1911 horizontal of Halla? I would think a regular 1913 Zeenut w/o coupon would be in the $20-$30 range......Is Halla a real tough 1913 anyway?

huh...i tried to win it to own a poor man's alternative angle of the net54 made famous 1911 zeenut halla...I'm guessing this is where the value is...or maybe as a companion piece. Then again many Zeenuts are tough?

Maybe some of the collectors of 1911s and 1912s have gone as far in the sets as they can go and are tackling the 1913 and 1914 sets
I was shocked when I saw the price, I assumed it would bring around $35, $55 tops because of his name.

I was hoping to buy it and then only view it from an extreme angle, so I could pretend it was the 1911. Although he does have two arms in the 1911 version.

Little known fact. Mort Challah (name was anglicized at Ellis Island) was first Jewish player on a horizontal card.

Halla isn't even in the tougher half of the 1913 Zeenut set so it had to be due to the name.

On a side note to tbob and Leon...I will buy all your 1913 un-couponed Zeenut's at those prices! Just tell me where to send the check!

Ditto.

My snipe on the Z13 Halla didn't even come close and I was higher than Bob's high end. Nowadays I'm seeing 1913's going in the $75-$95 range. Very cool and collectible set with some very strange poses.
