Stil have this...I'd rather sell here, instead of shipping it off to ASC. (but will ship off if I have to!)

What is ASC?

Going on a limb

My guess would be Authentic Sports Cards.

All Star Cards. They are the only compnay I know of with a published BUY LIST. If a certain card is in a certain PSA grade, then they pay a certain price. No hemming and hawing.......for the 1954 Topps Hank Aaron rookie in a PSA 6, they are paying $950. Cash money, no fees.....

I'd like to see their buy list. Do you have a link to their Web site?

bobbyw8469 07-07-2010 05:38 PM

Buy list isn't on their website....it is in the back of the monthly publication they send out.

printed catalog

I get their printed catalog fairly often, I think once a month. I know they have lists of "buy" prices. I don't remember specifics. I once bought a small group of Big Heads from them. Good luck on the Aaron....I used to have one in a 7 holder when I did the rookie HOF thing.

Thanks Leon...more than likely am gonna ship it off to them....Everyone on Ebay is looking to lowball. It is nice and refreshing to see a buyer stand by a stated price and be higher than most of the bids you see on Ebay!

Amazes me

That a company would state a pay price for a graded card without seeing it first. As we all know, there are some real ugly 6s but also some real nice ones (like this one). For them to pay a flat price for a number on a piece of plastic shows me how clueless they must be, not to mention paying $950 seems quite steep since that's about what they go for...My question also is who are the buyers on the other end that pay above average price and can I have their phone number :)

Nice card. Good luck. I think these All Star Card people are out of KC or close to KC.

lol...Hey Pat! I am guessing you don't currently get their magazine. They currently have one on the back cover for $1,300. They also had a SWEET Jim Brown Rookie PSA 7 on the last issue for $900. Sweet card I though, albeit priced a little high. Current issue, made a note of the SOLD Jim Brown! Some people never amaze me with the prices they get on cards, while me on the other hand, can't even give them away at a 99 cent auction! Anyway, they also had a Hank Aaron rookie in their monthly auction night (they try to make it fun for the collector, and to that I give them props). I made a bid on it, but it got bid up to around $1050, so I had to get out. I believe their game plan is to move their inventory quickly, even if they only make a little bit on each card (alot different than some of the Ebay sellers "gouging" strategy)......I try to follow their format myself on Ebay with miserable results....
