FS 1917 Boston Store George Sisler SGC Authentic

Card has wear and tear. SGC felt that it wasn't trimmed but it has a slope cut on the right side. It was in a PSA authentic holder and that flip will also be included.

Presents well for a lower grade card and this is a tough HOF Rookie Card.

RC??

James,
How can this be Sisler's rookie card when Sisler is in the 1916 M101-4/5 sets?

Well it is listed as such on the old cardboard list (at least the CM is), and I still haven't ever heard a good reason why the Boston store set suddenly became a 1917 issue.

Since everone seems to have a different opinion of what a rookie card is during that time period, I don't think calling this a rookie card is a stretch. It certainly is priced as a rookie and regardless, it is what it is and I will allow the new owner to decide themselves.

Hi James,

I think that the following cards with their respective player/team combination can pinpoint the set to 1917:

16 Bodie
55 Gandil
96 Lavendar
194 Wood
