purchased this 7 1/2" glove-shaped ("Spalding World Series Model") banquet menu from the 1913-14 New York Giants vs. Chicago White Sox World Tour this past weekend.....the Portland Baseball Boosters (P.B.B. beaver logo shown on cover) held the banquet November 18, 1913 at Multnomah Hotel, Portland, Oregon, with "Decorations furnished by A.G. SPALDING & CO." noted at bottom of page entitled "Line-Up".

I'd be interested in seeing any items (programs, tickets, postcards, photos, etc.) that anybody may have that are related to this tour.

Great stuff everybody- thanks for posting.....I've wondered about the many different items that were issued for this tour, and how many of them survived.

here's a photo postcard also taken at Recreation Park - "Walsh of the White Sox" (Ed Walsh) written on back - not sure whether or not it's from
the tour (as posted by Greenmonster) or if it's a Spring Training photo (White Sox trained in San Francisco 1909-1910).

as for the tour's Kansas stop, I believe I have a few photos showing the Giants when they were there - not sure where I have them buried within
my stuff, but if I find them I'll post them.

I've also gotta get a copy of that book.

Max, I'm interested in any information about games they played in Iowa. I know they played in Ottumwa, but still looking for other Iowa towns they visited.
