1979-80 OPC/Topps Gretzky RC PSA 10

Per SMR population report, there has only been 1 OPC psa 10 gretzky RC and 1 Topps PSA 10 Gretzky RC. It's difficult to put a price tag on each card, but if either card ever surface on the market, what's the fair market value for each card?

totally unpredictable, whoever has the most $ imo. Psa 9 OPC sold for around $5600.

Maybe 8-12 thousand for sgc , 12-15 thousand on psa.

if i remember correctly, there has been a sale of a BGS 9.5 (it might have been BVG) although i dont remember the price

SMR list PSA 10 Topps $23,000, and OPC $85,000
The BVG 9.5 was a sheet cut card, PSA would never put that card in PSA holder.

Two PSA 9 sold this year for $4,122 and in REA $5581.25 and SGC96 for 4763.45 SMR is worthless, also this is a modern card so very tough to gage a price. Really, the difference between a 9 or 10 is all luck on who is grading that day. Also when you can get a premo 6 or 7, even 8 for under $1000.00 you really have to question if it is even worth getting a 9.

you'd have to be some sort of silly to take it out of a BVG holder for a PSA holder, Beckett grading, whether you like it or not, commands the highest prices.

As for being a sheet cut, all cards were sheet cut at one time in their life!

I forgot about BVG, in BVG 9 they are only avg 3000 in price, $2751 and 3250 for sales, but in 2008 someone paid $50,000 for a BVG 9.5. Does that make any sense ? $47,000.00 for a half a grade more. These examples are what is so stupid about this hobby. You can get a nrmt graded for 300-600 but for mt 3000 and gem 50000. It's been said a million times but I have looked at enough 8,9,and 10 graded cards to honestly say many of the 8's look nicer and you can barely tell the difference between any of them.
