Help with bat name ID
 

Hello

Picked up this bat recently and I was wondering if anyone can help me with my mystery. The bat has the endorsement Louis "Chuck" Klein. Now, I'm pretty sure this is not THE Chuck Klein as it the signatures don't match and I know his name was not Louis. There was a Louis Klein that played in the 40's and early 50's and then went onto to coach the Chicago Cubs in the early 1960's. His middle name was Frank and I can't find any reference to him being referred to as Chuck. Any thoughts? Thanks for any help.

It is Louis Klein who played for the Cardinals...I found a link in Legendary auctions and apparently Lou Klein signed his name as Louis "Chuck" Klein when he did autographs.

you can tell by the color and stamping on the bat what year it would be from and definitely the Chuck Klein from the 1930s would have had a CK in the middle or if it was game used different markings then what you see in your pictures. good luck at your show this week
