Picked up at a card shop this weekend (almost exact size of a quarter)...never have seen anything like them? Thank you in advance...

Players are

Dickson -Boston
Humphries -Chicago
Smith -Brooklyn

almost look like sweetcaporal pins you could wear as a charm or necklace. Very cool pickup:cool:

Whatever they are they seem to be a 1913 issue:

Walt Dickson Boston 1912-1913
Bert Humphries Chicago 1913-1915
Red Smith Brooklyn 1911-1914

Jim, I think I have only seen these once before, I believe it was a few years ago and I'm pretty sure it was Johnny Evers.

Not Sure

I've never seen anything like those before. Are they metal? The pictures seem like they are made of vinyl.

Very nice pickup.

Here is the Evers fob Rhett remembered...

The Evers points to a 1914 date at the earliest.
I dont own it, and its the only one Ive seen until Jim's examples,

Cool!

Yep, it looks like the same issue as the Evers...which caused a bit of a stir when it first appeared a few years back. Very interesting.

btw it was Joe Jones who bought the Evers pin off ebay for $168. He used to be a regular here, but I'm not sure if he posts anymore.
