What would this cost me? Tinker/Evers/Chance

I'm sorry if I'm being a bit naive, but I'm kind of new to the vintage thing and getting approximate pricing is tough since a lot of what's listed out there has high unrealistic buyouts.

In my new vintage venture I've decided I'd like to get an example of each Tinker, Evers, and Chance. I also really like the t202 triple folders and was thinking it would be really cool to pick up either a Chance/Evers or Chance/Tinker. I know I can't afford a high quality copy, but approximately how much do you think an SGC A, 10, or 20 should cost if auctioned.

Thanks for any help :)

Depends on what you are looking for as far as eye appeal. I just finished this entire infield with my addition of the Evers portrait. I assembled this historic Cubs infield for $266.00. Good luck as I found it to be a very rewarding project.

You are probably looking at between $100 and $200 (on the high side) depending on the condition.

There are two that fit your description. The 2nd one is probably the one you are looking for:

Card #61 - Evers Makes A Safe Slide (Chance/Evers)
Card #64 - Evers Makes A Safe Slide (Chance/Tinker)

Good luck!

Thanks for the helpful tips guys. Card #64 is definately the one I'd prefer of the 2 in the t202 set.

2deuces, that infield set is absolutely gorgeous. Generally I've been more a fan of the action shots, but those 4 portraits together look awesome! If I could find the t202 #64 in an SGC 10 with colors as vibrant as those, I'd be very very happy. :)

For whatever reason, my first few vintage pick ups have all ben NY Giants that were involved in the Merkle boner game:
t206 Merkle
t205 McGraw
t201 Mathewson/Bridwell

I didn't do it intentionally, but since picking up those 3 I thought it would be kind of cool to have the Tinker/Evers/Chance HoF trio from the same game to balance out all the NY Giants I've got :p

T202 #64 is a very popular card. When I've auctioned them off they've usually done better than I expected. Be prepared to pay a little more than you may think.

All you need now is the Merkle boner ball in REA :D

Another idea. Each T205 can be had for about fifty or sixty bucks.
