More cards in a wall
1 Attachment(s)
A friend of mine was gutting his kitchen, including tearing down the walls. And guess what he found.....He said that they may have been damaged during the demo because they didn't think there would be anything behind the walls. He asked me if they have any value, but I am no expert. So some help would be appreciated....Thanks and I would have to say.....you never know what your going to find and where.

What brand is on the back? It could have a large impact on value. Nap Lajoie, on the right, is a Hall of Famer and the more valuable of the pair, but is in worse condition.

I have heard of them using cards/ posters and various other things as insulation before. Im glad its not my house, i would be to tempted to tear down all my walls.
Was there only 2 cards? |
I agree Jim-I'd feel the need to tear out every wall in that house had I found a few T206's in there.................what if there were a Honus in them walls?:D

Cards Found in Wal
I had a case about a year ago where a woman was renovating her house and she found a bunch of cards in the wall. Posted about it on the NonSport Update forum. I would up buying seven R152 Tootsie Circus cards from her which graded out between PSA3 to PSA4. :)
A friend of mine bought all the 1936 Fleer Cops & Robbers cards she had. So it does happen. My theory is that a child hid them, in the wall from his/her siblings and forgot about them. |
