Collect.com Thoughts?

It is very much not clear on their website. Does Collect.com have the "15 minute rule" for each individual lot, or for their auction as a whole? How have your dealings with them been?

I am using Google Chrome for a browser. Is anyone else coming up with a message that Collect.com's security certificate is expired? It should be https instead of http.

Guys, first, the auction has a 15-minute rule over the entire auction, not per lot. Second, I had the same issue with my browser and you just have click through the "get certificate" part of it to get into the site. I'm not sure if this is simple auctions issue and maybe have upgraded software or the fact that you are using a different browser.

If anyone needs a catalog or has additional questions for the April 8 auction, email me directly at Bloedow@collect.com. Thanks.

Security

Hi Steve,
I tried IE, but I get the same message. I clicked through the warning page to get to the registration page, but it still doesn't say https. I don't want to enter my personal info and credit card info into a site that isn't secure.

Thanks,
Rick

Rick,

Call us tomorrow to register if you are having problems. I think the issues discussed are two separate issues. The registration is one issue and the other is having to go through this security certificate thing when you log into the site to bid. I'll contact simple auctions about the issue, but I know I've had to go through the security certificate thing when I log into look at bids. I'll obviously monitor this forum as always, to see if any other issues pop up. Thanks.

Thanks for getting it fixed so quickly. I am registered and placed a bid.
