For auction in a postcard showing the Oxford Confectionary Caramel Factory in Oxford, Pennsylvania. It was in 1921 that this company used baseball cards as promos in its candy - E253 Oxford Confectionary. The verso shows a postmark date of 8/11/1921 - right in the heat of baseball season.

If I was just a flipper I would do it for ya'. I am pretty happy I just won the 1921 Tip Top Bread in H and S too, all in all a good collecting night. This really was a fun little thread auction....It definitely went to the wire. I was surprised that last bid of yours wasn't in the time frame. There must have been, what seemed like, was 2 minutes in that last 20 seconds.:confused:
