HELP with Bat
I obtained a Tony Gwynn (game used- cracked) bat in 1983. I was told it was one of Tony's minor league bats and this seemed reasonable, as he had just started his career and wasn't even a star yet. It was actually a "Throw In" with a Garry Templeton bat!:)
I was wondering if anyone would have any idea what it would be worth, now, or a direction to point me to find out. He has always been my favorite player, so the bat means a lot to me. I would probably never sell it....unless I could send my daughter to college with the funds! I'm just really curious. I could send pictures if needed. While I understand it may have been used by Gwynn in the minors, his bats are plentiful in the hobby......You may be looking at a value at $2000-$3000
