1915 Chi Whales Fed Lg Advertising Poster - Any Info?

1 Attachment(s)
Picked this up off of eBay a few weeks back. I know George Moreland was a sports writer of some sorts along with writting Balldom ('14, '17 & '27 editions).
I also know that similar posters were made by Moreland of Cobb and the '15 St Louis Fed Lg. Does anyone know of any others? Or any other info about these advertising pieces?

Thanks in Advance,

Mark

Cool item. Note that though it's a 1915 piece, the photo is of the 1914 club.

Here's a link to three that were in the Legendary recent auction...

Mark, you are right - the uniforms are of the '14 variety.

By the way, as a side bar - that same image was used for
some kind of premium poster, not sure who was the sponsor.
But it was originally part of Steinbach's collection and is included
in one of Slater's auctions in '98 or so.

Bob, thanks for the link. Funny thing, I received that catalog and
missed it!!! Go figure....

1914 Federal League Poster

We have the country's leading collection of Federal League memorabilia

Among the many items that grace our collection are a 1914 Federal League
advertising poster of the St. Louis Feds team. We purchased said poster
from Richard Merkin in 1986 in near mint condition for $750

We do not have a scan available

Is the use of "are" because either both of you bought several near mint posters at the sum of $750 or whilst both of you have oodles of cash, both of you still can't purchase the mastery of the English language...in near mint condition?

Nutty Professor, Mark Rios and others

Whilst we find your comments, amusing, like your very lives
they are worthless.

Should anyone care to challenge us on the quality of our Federal League
Collection vis a vis their collection, we would be happy to retain and independent appraiser as long as we could have a wager (put in escrow) and we can compare item by item.

David- have your student ratings improved or are you still among the bottom 2% in the country?

How're those multi-million dollar deals workin' out for ya, Bruce?
Your kitchen table must be getting awfully cluttered.

Got anybody workin' in that company of yours, yet? Or are you still the Guinness record-holder for the smallest "group"?

(BTW, Bruce, I only have one life. And, thankfully, I haven't pissed it away, sitting by myself in my apartment, playing with five-fingered Mary, and calling myself "we.")
