Bill Veeck, Larry Doby and ... George Burke
 

I was browsing Cleveland-related photos on Legendary's Web site and saw the one below of Bill Veeck and Larry Doby. Notice in the background a George Burke statue, of which we've had a couple different threads on in the past. I've not seen enough Burke photographs to make a guess who the player is. Anyone have any thoughts based on the pose?

It's truly a wild-ass guess, but that statue reminds me of a George Burke postcard I've seen of Jocko Conlan with the White Sox circa 1933-1934.
