Opinion on this T205 Mathewson
 

Hey, guys. Thinking about bidding on this Mathewson and wanted to get your collective opinion about it. It looks real and untrimmed to me, but just the fact that it's in a PRO slab makes me question it. Thanks.

Great image, it looks like it would grade a 2, but I am no expert.

I think you can at a minimum assume it's trimmed.

Stay away the bottom is trimmed. Look at the back. The top of the card is nice and even, then look at the bottom and the card has the slightest tilt to it.

If you are thinking of buying the card, and you're getting it for a discounted price because it is slightly trimmed, and worn, then it might be a good pickup. If I were to buy it I'd bust him outa that plastic, and it would be a long time before he got re-entombed. So if you're a collector of unslabbed cards this might be an ok deal. The card looks real from what I can tell, looks a bit dirty, could do with a soaking...

The bottom edge is definitely trimmed. Whatever you pay, make sure you take that into account.
