Photo Help: Frankie Zak
 

I wonder if anyone can help me out, I'm looking for some photos of Frankie Zak, 1944-46 Pirates. He was a family friend and I'd like to do a baseball card of him, but need a good picture to work from. Any help would be much appreciated!

Have you tried the Hall of Fame's photo dept.? They're really good about digging through what they have.

Yes I went through their file a few years ago and the few pictures they had were no good. I've seen a George Brace picture of him batting in Wrigley Field but can't get a good copy of that. It was reproduced in a book, one of those "baseball Hall Of Shame" books, but you can't see the facial details too well.
