PSA policy on card reviews?
I had thought that when cards are reviewed for possible half point bumps the cards are reholdered with the numerical grade placed below the longhand grade -- instead of beside it -- so as to note that the card had been resubmitted. I sent in six cards and got them back with the cards not bumped in their original holders and flips. Also, in order to show me why the cards failed the bump test, stickers were placed on the cards with a written note such as "corner" or "centering." And the stickers, when attempted to be removed, did not remove without applying WD-40. What's up with that? Anyone else have this type of crappy PSA service?

Jeff....
I was under the impression - if there is no bump / they do not crack out and re-slab. |
I've only sent in one card for review, but I had to specifically ask for it to be reholdered and the new holder had one of those same stickers on it that took several applications of Goo Gone to get off.

eh you guys always bash psa....look on the bright side, at least they didn't put the sticker right on the card.

A large majority of my collection is in PSA holders -- I wish I didn't have to bash them.

Fellas,
stop wasteing your money on bumps and cross-overs. I've come to learn it's just not worth it. Sure they put a sticker on it, but calvin did you see that corner or notice the centering? 85% of cards sent for cross-over service don't get crossed over, hmmm. Not bashing, just like jack webb said, "just the facts". |
