A growing problem

I am guessing after seeing some results from the Ruth stamped replica balls that were discussed at length on here another seller had a brilliant idea. I am SOOOO THRILLLED.....to see that some moron destoryed a really nice vintage baseball with a poor quality forgery. The ball itself would have brought him some nice money but he decided to impove upon it by adding his special touch. As a collector of Goldsmith items I would have bid on the ball, but not anymore.

Here is a link to the auction

Thankfully eBay had pulled the item.

The entire thing, including bidding, was ludicrous. I didn't understand it.

Item has been relisted a few hours later, this time with a higher starting price. Ebay has been notified again of his shenanigans. In the words of Bugs Bunny "What a Maroon"

It has been pulled again.
Let's hope this gets stopped in its tracks, this can become a joy for the dark side of this hobby, which is growing all the time.

If it is still up take a look at his other garbage tons of forged items mainly players under contract with CMG....Jackson,Cobb,Johnson,Matty....you name it he will forge it. Maybe he can find some work with CC auctions. I hope they can help stop things like this from continuing
