I recently saw this Exhibit machine for sale in a local antique shop, anybody have an idea what a fair price would be?

I'm not an expert on these but would say $300 - $400 maybe........

Since the Musial & Mays cards help the value over 2 commons
I'd say $150-$200 EDITED TO ADD, I think Phil's prices are a bit on the high side |
The seller is asking $495, I thought that sounded a bit high. He also says it's from the 1930's, is that accurate?

I bought one a month ago, you may have seen my post about the glass breaking. I got mine for $300 and it was in working order with the original lock replaced. There is a pretty good history of them selling in the $275-350 range, make an offer of 300.

I have three and paid between 250-350 each for them (the one for $350 had 400 actors cards also). I think $300 or less would be about right.
It looks to be a 1930's machine, the 1920's machine usually have a copyright and company name on the front bottom. |
I agree that $300 - $350 is about right for this one. Condition looks reasonably good, and it has a nice look to it. Plus, the Exhibit Cards in the window are desirable. I would also first make sure it's fully functioning, and has the key.
