Champions of American Sport book for SALE
 

In 1981 the Smithsonian Institution and the National Portrait Gallery orgainized an exhibition called CHAMPIONS OF AMERICAN SPORT, Sponsored by Philip Morris and the Miller Brewing Company. The exhibition went to only 4 cities and therefore these programs were limited. They produced a mult-page booklet, with an interesting memorabilia cover for the exhibit. There are 2 pages (9 cards per page = 18 total cards) of cards that COULD be perforated cards in the book. Really nice condition. Cards depicted include Bill Russell, Sandy Koufax, Muhammad Ali, Joe Namath, Willie Mays, Joe Louis, Johnny Unitas, etc,...

I have two (2) of these books for sale, all the cards are intact. Each book = $65 ppd. Both for $100 ppd.
