Exhibit Authenticity Question
2 Attachment(s)
I recently picked up this nice Hank Aaron 1947-66 Exhibit example on EBAY, but just wanted to make sure it is authentic because the back seems a little darker then the other 1947-66 Exhibits I have. Can anyone weigh in?
Thanks - Rob |
Tan or Cream or Brown
I recall there was a thread about this on the main board a couple months ago relating ot PSA wrongly slabbing grey-back exhibit reprints as authentic. It is my recollection that the back should be brown/tan/cream and not dark gray like yours. I had a reprint Musial Exhibit with the similar color back as yours...

Here is the thread. My apologies, but your Aaron is a reprint. Hopefully, you can get a refund.

EExhibit
Your Exhibt is a reprint. Hank is one of the players that were re-printed along with 20 or so others (probably more than that, but those 20 were popular). The obvious signs are the "fuzzy" picture image and the gray back. If you compare the front image with a genuine Exhibit, you will see the difference in picture quality. I learned the hard way.
